On Thursdays and Fridays children from Rookhope, St John’s Chapel and Wearhead schools all work together. On this page you will see news about the activities we have done together.
British Science Week 2023- Connections
Scientists from Durham University came in to school to help us celebrate British Science Week. The children took part in three workshops: Chemistry, Anthropology and What is a Scientist? The children were able to learn from the experts and took part in different investigations.
Having fun making lava lamps.
An anthropologist helped us to explore the skeleton and learnt about the different bones in the body. We had to use clues to build a skeleton.
School Residential
Many of our children took part in our federation residential trip to Lockerbie Manor. Some photographs show a few of the activities completed.
