The Community Garden Restoration
Thankyou to all of the green-fingered helpers who came to school on Sunday. Our community garden is looking much better! Some people carried, some dug, some scraped, some pulled and all of us enjoyed a delicious lunch cooked by Mr Oliphant.

History of St John’s Chapel School 6th June 2017
Following on from our 140th birthday celebrations and our front page publicity in the Weardale Gazette, we are having a history day where Rachel Cochran will be recording the children asking past pupils and staff questions to find out more about the history of our school.

We will be joined by the children from Rookhope and Forest for a writing workshop led by North Pens Writing Group and by Colette our school nurse.
