History Day

7th June 2017 By joanneridley

To help us to celebrate our 140th birthday, we invited some past pupils and staff into school to talk about their memories. The children asked them questions and we recorded the interview with the help of Rachel Cochrane. We also visited The Luncheon Club in The Barrington Hall to ask the members their memories of schools in The Dale.

We wrote letters of the children of the future and thought about items that could go in a time capsule.

Some people carried, some dug, some scraped, some pulled and all of us enjoyed a delicious lunch cooked by Mr Oliphant. sdc16181-customsdc16175-customsdc16177-customsdc16182-custom
